Lost in the <strong>creative flow state<\/strong>, where time bends, hunger is ignored, and the outside world ceases to exist.<\/p><p>My wife calls me a <strong>boundless creative<\/strong>\u2014I think she means it lovingly (most of the time). I\u2019m <strong>constantly torn<\/strong> between wanting to be out in the sunshine with friends and family, and being <strong>whacked by the creative stick<\/strong> so hard that I have no choice but to obey.<\/p><hr \/><h2><strong>Who\u2019s This Guy?<\/strong><\/h2><p>Hello! I\u2019m Craig, writing to you from a <strong>small but beautiful seaside village on the South Coast of Wales.<\/strong> I\u2019m in my mid-40s, and despite an <strong>eclectic past of adventures, travels, and random jobs<\/strong>, I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up.<\/p><p>What I do know is this: <strong>Creativity and human connection keep me going.<\/strong><\/p><p>It took a <strong>mental breakdown, a global pandemic, isolation, and becoming a carer for my recently disabled wife<\/strong> to make me stop <strong>looking outward for purpose<\/strong> and start <strong>looking inward<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Here\u2019s what I discovered:<br \/>\u2714 <strong>Helping and supporting others gives me purpose.<\/strong><br \/>\u2714 <strong>Getting lost in creativity keeps me sane.<\/strong><\/p><p>So, I balance both\u2014<strong>working for a local cycling charity<\/strong> (which fills my soul but not my bank account) and <strong>creating t-shirt designs<\/strong> that turn my <strong>endless doodles and ideas into something wearable.<\/strong><\/p><hr \/><h2><strong>From Film to Fabric<\/strong><\/h2><p>Before COVID, my wife and I were documentary <strong>film-makers<\/strong>\u2014I handled <strong>camera work and editing<\/strong>, while she did <strong>producing and directing<\/strong>. Then, the world stopped. And like many, I had to adapt.<\/p><p>I spent lockdown <strong>learning motion graphics<\/strong>, <strong>creating digital content<\/strong>, and even <strong>bringing my niece\u2019s weird creature drawings to life<\/strong> through digital composite art. Somewhere along the way, I realised that <strong>my mindless doodles during long phone calls<\/strong> were actually something more\u2014they were meditative, personal, and kind of\u2026 cool?<\/p><p>One day, it hit me:<br \/><strong>Why not turn these doodles into digital art?
